For many years, I have had the privilege of photographing the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) interns during their time in Washington, DC. It is especially rewarding to see many of these young professionals continue using their headshots on LinkedIn and other professional profiles long after their internships have ended.
CHCI chooses to have these portraits taken outdoors with the U.S. Capitol as the backdrop. Each session requires obtaining the necessary permits, carefully planning around the weather, and positioning each subject to make the best use of natural light. The result is a collection of professional portraits that reflect the confidence and potential of the next generation of leaders.
