For more than ten years, I had the privilege of photographing conferences and events for the National Association of Federally Impacted Schools (NAFIS). During that time, I documented keynote presentations, educational sessions, networking, and the dedicated professionals working to improve educational opportunities for students across the country.
NAFIS is a leading advocate for school districts that educate children living on military installations, Native American lands, federal housing, and other federally impacted communities. Through its conferences and advocacy efforts, the organization helps ensure these districts receive the resources and support they need to provide a high-quality education to every student.
It was an honor to capture the people, conversations, and moments that reflected NAFIS’s commitment to educational excellence and its mission of supporting schools that serve some of our nation’s most unique and often underserved communities.
